The Corporate Counsel Section serves in-house counsel and their private practice legal advisors in the multiple disciplines involved in representing business entities.
On topics pertinent to these lawyers, the Section:
1. Publishes an annual newsletter.
2. Sponsors the semi-annual publication by the South Texas College of Law of the Corporate Counsel Review.
3. Sponsors various continuing legal education seminars including the Corporate Counsel Institute (held annually in Houston and Dallas) and two programs presented at the Annual Meeting of the State Bar of Texas.
4. Provides financial support to organizations that provide pro bono opportunities that appeal to in-house counsel with transactional backgrounds.
